As reported by Reuters, Advanced Economic Solutions says food prices are going to go up 9% a year at least through 2012. If I've done my math right, that means that if a pound of tomatoes cost $1.79 in 2007, the same pound will cost $2.79 in 2012.Check out the Helpful Gardener for some great tips on growing tomatoes.
