Earlier this week I was riding to work with my windows open-- heat wave!--and felt nearly asphyxiated by the non-stop white smoke billowing from First Student school bus number MB28. For what it's worth, I called First Student and told them to check out their bus. Being as it's close to the end of the school year, I doubt they will.
Today I checked in With Sen. Downing's Pittsfield office today to see how his Anti-Idling legislation was doing. The bill, which passed the Senate, is now in House Ways and Means.
For Western and Central Mass. residents, we have a few representatives on the committee. In Webster, you can call Rep. Kujawski at you can call 617-722-2017 or Rep.PaulKujawski@hou.state.ma.us; in Clinton, Rep. Naughton at 978-365-1955 or Rep.HaroldNaughton@hou.state.ma.us; in Spencer, Rep. (Hey, how come out of 31 members on House Ways and Means, we don't have ONE representative from Hampden, Hampshire or Franklin County???)
