Stone Soup Station, the blog for Nashville's street newspaper, has a feature article on 20 innovations for the Homeless. A few you've seen on this blog; others are new. I particularly like the alternative shelter ideas, such as the cardboard box bed. Check it out.

Thanks for the hat-tip re TrendHunters 20 Innovations for the Homeless, but I did want to clarify one thing. While it is true that I am one of the co-founders and Vice President of The Contributor, Nashville's only street newspaper examining the wide variety of perspectives and issues concerning homelessness. However, my blog, Stone Soup Station, is not a part of the paper. We don't publish the paper online since it would take away from sales for our vendors, which is one of the primary reasons for the paper's existence.
