When I pulled into my driveway yesterday, before I got out of the car I noticed that a small, still-bare bush was sheltering: a robin, two red finches and a male and female cardinal! It's as if they said, "All red birds over here!"Female cardinals are underrated, I think, for their beauty.

I think they are underrated also. In my back yard there are loads of cardinals - it's just hard to get a good pic of them - if they detect one little move they fly away!
