Girl, I cannot BEGIN to tell you the amount of times people, who... swore at me or insulted me or flipped-me off or threw something at me or tried to run me off of the shoulder of a road...had a troop-support sticker pasted between both tail-lights.

The way so many of our homeless Vets [who shouldn't be homeless in the first place] are treated in the U.S.A. is disgraceful.

I was a hitchhiking hippy, so I know what you mean...thank the heavens for the folks you'd take you home for Sunday dinner, they went a long way to balance the cars you'd almost get into and then realize there was no door handle on the passenger side...
